  • Description

    Hello dear fellow beings,

My name is Emily, and I’m a systemic coach, psychological counselor, and 200-hour certified yoga teacher living in Berlin. After completing five years of psychology studies — including a master’s in environmental psychology — I’m now passionate about helping people reconnect with themselves, with others, and with nature.

My main motivations in life are to live sustainably, learn continuously, and contribute positively to this planet. I currently work in a project supporting long-term unemployed people in Berlin, combining psychological counseling, coaching, and mindfulness-based methods. I’m also deepening my practice through a yoga psychology training, exploring how yoga and psychology can enrich each other on a therapeutic level.

    Things that bring me joy:
🧘 Daily yoga and meditation practice
🥗 Cooking and discovering new flavors
🎨 Photography, painting, dancing, and art in all forms
🎷 Listening to live jazz (and dreaming of learning the saxophone one day!)
🌳 Long walks in nature, hiking, and observing life’s small details
📚 Reading, reflecting, and connecting deeply with others

I’ve been lucky to travel to more than 20 countries, and my goal now is to travel slowly and mindfully — to really immerse myself in new cultures, learn local traditions, and contribute wherever I stay. My dream for the future is to build a small sustainable farm with a permaculture garden, animals, and a space for healing and creativity.

I’m very excited to continue my Workaway journey and to meet people who share similar values of connection, kindness, and respect for nature.

Looking forward to meeting you somewhere along the way 🌞

  • More details about your skills

Over the past years, I’ve developed a wide range of skills through both study and hands-on experience. I hold a background in psychology and sustainability, and I’m now working as a systemic coach and psychological counselor, as well as a 200-hour certified yoga teacher.

I’m skilled in communication, active listening, and conflict resolution, and I love helping others grow, reflect, and reconnect with themselves or their environment. I have a strong analytical and creative side — I enjoy writing, photography, painting, and finding beauty in simplicity.

I’m also passionate about holistic and sustainable living. I love cooking, yoga and meditation, and exploring environmental psychology — how nature and surroundings shape our well-being.

Languages are another strength of mine: I speak English and German fluently, and I’m comfortable teaching or translating between both.

I’m curious to deepen my knowledge in Ayurveda, permaculture, and self-sufficient living — and to gain more hands-on experience in gardening, eco-building, and community-based projects that bring people and nature closer together.
