  • Description

    Hi dear hosts and travellers,

something that has seemed to develop into a pattern in my life is the urge to break out of my familiar surroundings and discover the beauty of the unknown. I haven’t decided on a concrete destination yet and will therefore let my instincts (and workaway-feed ;)) lead me. This year, I have a few months off between my semesters at university and I want to make something meaningful out of my time. I can't wait to share adventures with new people, exchange and connect with locals, and expand my knowledge about the world!! The list of things in which I find happiness is endless - luckily I keep my diary close to make significant and seemingly insignificant moments last! If I don't write, I stare in the sun, go on hikes, swim, draw, dance and... oh there is simply too much. Anyway, I am happy to be here :) My year abroad in BC, Canada and Grenoble, France positively impacted my life! I can't wait for more !!

More details about my language interests
I LOVE learning new languages and I believe there is no better way to connect with the world. Since ages, I really want to learn Italian and work on my (barely existing) Spanish skills. Just as much as learning, i enjoy teaching languages. I am fluent in German, English, Serbian and French and would love to help out!

  • More details about your skills

My au pair experience in France reminded me how much I love spending time with kids. It taught me the joy of teaching languages and showed me how rewarding it is to help children develop confidence in communicating across cultures. Overall it inspired me to pursue my career: I am currently studying Biology and French to become a high school teacher.
I love the outdoors - which definitely contributed to my choice of major in Biology. Whether it’s plants, animals, or human beings, I’m always eager to learn more about how everything in nature is interconnected. In addition to my experience with tutoring and taking care of kids, I learned to assist elderly people during my voluntary service at a hospital.
These experiences and my career allow me to bring a diverse set of skills and qualities: patience, creativity, empathy, lots of enthusiasm, compassionate care, communication skills, teamwork...
My creativity spans cooking, DIYs, drawing, painting, and writing. While I’m still gaining experience in gardening and farming, I’m genuinely interested in these areas and eager to learn more (especially about plant care, cultivation, and sustainable practices). I would appreciate some initial guidance, but with a bit of support, I’m confident that I can quickly pick up new techniques and contribute effectively.
