Hey I am Elisabeth (19) and I am from Germany. In Summer 22 I graduated from school. I decided to make a gap year to meet new people, their country and culture and stories of them.

In the last years I have gained a lot of experience with children. It was a part of my school education to complete two internships in a social institution for half a year. I decided to make a internship in a Waldorf-kindergarden and in a Montessorischool. The year was so amazing. I have learned so much and had a really good time. Besides that I have learned that I am want to become a teacher. That's why I started (in September 23) studying Steiner's pedagogy in Mannheim.

I also like to work with animals especially with Horses and dogs.
Since I was a young child I have been riding and since two years I am teaching children in riding and gymnastic on a horse. It’s so nice to connect two things I love.
In addition to that I care of a small stable with four horses on the weekends. I feed them and clean up the stable. The place is near by the woods and I like to spend time there to enjoy the silence and to go out for a walk with the horses.

Other things I like are reading books or listening to audiobooks, to learn about new things for example sustainability or Psychologie or to escape into another world in my thoughts.
Moreover I like baking and cooking for me and my friend so we can and eat together and have nice chats.

I am a really sociable person and enterprising! Besides that I am really warm-hearted and empathic, so it makes me happy to help other people and make them smile.
