Hey, I'm Elena
I'm 21 years old and it is my first time traveling solo.
With Workaway I want to see new places and meet people with different cultures. Meet different approaches to life and be inspired by it. I love to help where needed, so I feel free to say so :)

My hobbies are drawing and reading. I love to watch movies and talk about them. I enjoye baking and going for a walk, but I don't do them very often. So feel free to ask me :)

I'm interested in learning about art and the art world. The last few years I have explored and learned in school about it, but am now looking for answers on my own. I'm open to any point of view and would like to listen to you and your story.

I would describe myself as social, friendly and honest.
At some point I can be too critical to myself, I'm still in the proces to bring balance to that.
Learning and feedback is important for me, I don't believe in becoming the perfect person but growing as a better person.

I'm interested in learning languages. My mother language is Dutch, but I can speak English as well. I learnt french in school but can't have conversations in french. So I'm looking for people I can practice with. Other languages I'm interested as well, just know that I'm not a fastlearner when it comes to languages :)

I studied fine art and graduated at Sint Lucas Antwerp.
I'm someone who works with different materials.
I have experience with filming and video-editing, but also painting, drawing, ceramics and plaster.
I have some experience in wood and metal but am not a professional (yet).
Besides working with materials, I've also have experience working in a team.
I'm part of a volunteer group (VDS) who in the summer work as a children's entertainers.
