Hello! I'm currently working in a hostel based in York, UK and would like to travel and explore more of Europe doing this type of thing as well as exploring different types of work and opportunities! It was after travelling that I took a career change and began working in hospitality, primarily in hostels and I am hoping to build on the skills and experience I have gained by doing this in other countries , building on my skills and practising my spanish although, of course, I am not restricting myself to just this type of work! I also enjoy working outdoors, permaculture and have a genuine fascination with projects of a sustainable and minimal nature and I would REALLY like to be a part of a project that involves sustainable natural construction like cob and other natural resources this year! (2023)

Having been persuaded by a friend to join up, work away seems like the perfect tool to facilitate and bring to life these desires and beyond whilst immersing myself in new cultures and maintaining a suitable work/life balance

I would describe myself as someone with a healthy appetite for new experiences, immersing myself in new cultures and meeting new people via travelling! Im easy going and don't take life (or myself) too seriously, someone who gets lost in thought and relishes the organic flow of things.. I'm open minded and celebrate the great diversities and differences the world offers, which is why i find travelling such an alluring adventure!

I am learning spanish (B2 according to the app I use) and would welcome the idea of travelling with someone and having opportunities for language practice and new experiences!

for 2023, my main goal is to travel to south/central america around October time and stay for some months! I also intend to have a few short trips around Europe in April & July before this and I welcome the idea of travelling with someone :)
