First of all I want to welcome everyone of you visiting my profile :)

I'm Darlene, a young, open-minded austrian woman who grew up in a small city called Linz, but now living in Vienna. I want to break free and get away from the "comfort-zone" so I decided to join workaway.info. I think volunteering is the best way not only to explore a country but also to gain experience and to get to know the culture in an unique way by living with locals. I love meeting some beautiful souls and forming new friendships in different places/cultures all over the planet.

I absolutely love animals, especially dogs. My dream is to work with them, as I had pets for many years. It's just the best feeling a dog gives you: lots of love and appreciation.

My second biggest hobby is photography of landscapes, nature and architecture.

I also enjoy organizing
(for example citytrips). I just love planning everything: from the transportation to the accomodation.

I have a pretty healthy diet and organic foods are very important to me. I'm dreaming of growing my own vegetables one day..

Skills from my 10-year experience as a graphic designer: working with computers, designing & creating business cards, wedding-invitation-cards, flyers, posters up to magazines, so all kind of printed artworks but also designing adverts for your social media account.

I'm hardworking (not afraid to get my hands dirty), supportive, caring, friendly, helpful, a good listener, animallover, experimental cook and communicative person and I love to be outdoors and around people. Plus I'm always excited to learn new things/projects!

As I'm studying (psychology) and working (as a graphicdesigner) online I will have to be on my laptop for approx. 6 hours per day, but the timemanagement is very flexible - it's just very important for me to have a very good or Highspeed Wifi connection. The rest of the day (and you can decide what time of the day) I‘m happy to help with household, cooking, gardening, grocery-shopping, cleaning, animal care, etc.
