Hiya! I'm Daniel, 23 years old, and fresh from finishing up my Bachelor's in Maths. During my studies in Berlin, I have saved up some money to travel around India for as long as possible from October 2024 onwards. I've always been interested in its culture and people and especially the food ever since my roommate introduced me to his grandma's spicy pickled mango.

Wherever I am living, I tend to organize community events, like Karoake nights, movie/game nights and parties. I also love to work in gardens, explore hiking trails, boulder (rock climb), read, and write short stories/poetry. Practically, I have worked for 2 years as a teaching assistant in various college-level maths courses.

I consider myself to be a calm, level-headed person but able to be excited about just about anything, especially music, food, different philosophies, and languages. Having grown up in the USA with Polish parents, and completed my undergraduate degree in Germany, I have always had a hunger for new cultures and new experiences, and it feels like India and south-east Asia is the next step on my journey.

I have a solid grasp of German and English and can assist in teaching those languages. I can also teach secondary and beginner college-level maths courses (algebra, calculus, linear algebra).

I have also done a fair amount of gardening with friends and family and am more than happy to work on agricultural projects or getting my hands/feet dirty in general.

I have worked behind a bar numerous times, although not professionally trained. I have organized and moderated karaoke nights and student parties (flyer creation/distribution, decoration, drinks, music selection, DJing, general supervision, cleaning).

I love to try out new things, learn new skills and am open-minded and adapt to new environments very quickly.
