Hi!

My name is Clément. I am 27 years old. After working as a civil engineer for 3 years I am now having a career break. Using workaway is for me the best way to contribute to the life of a community, enjoy a meaningful lifestyle, while discovering cultures and learning new things. I have recently done a workaway in Marocco to teach french to kids and adults, and another one in Kenya by lake Victoria to help with computer/library/guidance for a clean water project.

I love to go on adventures, to experience new sensations, and to create. Indeed I am addicted to outdoors sports in general, surfing, hiking, and anything in that range of activities. I recently crossed the Pyrenees mountains hiking 50 days. I play music, instruments such as drums, bass, synthesizer, groove box. I also do photography, I bring my camera wherever I go.

French is my native language, I am fluent in english (I studied in the US for some time), speak a decent german, and know the basics of spanish. Learning the local language is, I believe, essential.

Through my different jobs and hobbies I've had several experiences in client relationship and teamwork in various context, from people ordering drinks in a pub to directors in the industry!
I worked as a field engineer for 3 years, in a farm for 2 months, in music festivals, was in charge of organizing events and communication in an association, taught french to kids and adults in Marocco...
I like to use my hands, I can cook, do some gardening, farmwork, have basic skills in construction. I feel at ease with technology, and everything that deal with sounds, photography, and videography.
