  • Description

    Hi, I'm Christopher!

With more than 27 years of life experience I find myself in a transition phase to which I'm really looking forward to. After having worked for 2,5 years in the chore team of a small German NGO, it is now time for me to focus more on my freelancing activities: filming and other social entrepreneur activities in cool projects.

However, before fully stepping into my freelancing I'm taking a month to workaway. I really like the idea of working physically in a project while at the same time being able to get to know people, their stories and culture.

Traveling and encountering new cultures has been part of my life since my childhood and I love it! I was born in Germany, then moved to Namibia to then come back to Europe (first France and then again Germany, then Sweden and now I'm based in Germany).
Cultural exchanges, meeting people from different countries and backgrounds and moving in international spaces has become a part of who I am. This was also strengthened through the studies I made: Bachelor in International Relations and Social Sciences, and an social entrepreneur program in Sweden called The International Youth Initiative Program (YIP).

What fascinates me are people and big questions: what is it to be a human? How do other people perceive the world? And how can we stand and thrive in the complexity of these different lived realities and of our world?

As a filmmaker I really enjoy moving those questions for my own, in contact with others and through observation of my surroundings. And at the same time I really enjoy physical work and bring things down to earth.

The bonus info is, that I'm half French and half German and that I love fresh papaya with lemon juice.

Really looking forward to meeting you and work with and learn from you.

    Greetings,
    Christopher

PS : I'm an uncomplicated person who can adapt to any situation with a preference for tidiness and cleanness.

  • More details about your skills

Till know I worked in different fields such as agriculture, education, theater, event organizing and hosting, waiter and gardening/house care.
I like doing things with my hand and work with my body. Thus, I would qualify myself as an all-rounder.

On the other side I am also very interested working in social environments, hosting meetings and events, doing Art of Hosting processes and working with youth. Since about one year I discovered in me a neirdy side that likes technology, especially related to video.

Through all these experiences I leared to work well alone and in a team and to be very problem-solving orientated with a tendency to perfection.
