Hi, I am traveling this year looking for new friends and intentional communities. I go hiking, exploring, and enjoy nature any chance I get.
Description
I grew up in the midwest US, and earned a degree in chemical engineering. Most of my life I have been an avid gardener and lived on small farms.
I am happiest out in nature and enjoy hiking, and all kinds of outdoor activities. I also enjoy meeting people and experiencing new cultures with people of all backgrounds and interests.
In my free time I’m likely to read or walk in the woods to recharge and refresh.
I have a diverse work and volunteer background: including working as a chemical engineer, restoring an 1870s soda fountain/pharmacy building, remodel of houses, kitchens, and bathrooms. I worked as a house painter before attending university. I was a founding board member of a non-profit permaculture association, and designed a community garden with food forest, medicine-wheel herb garden, and rain gardens. I am especially interested in and use medicinal herbs and preparations, plant alchemy, distillations, and fermentation.
