We (Liz and Charlie) are a fun -loving mature duo from New Zealand who enjoy immersing ourselves in the local culture, meeting new people, learning and contributing while we travel. We are newly registered on this platform but are experienced volunteers and good "all rounders" with a positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed. We have been on the site crew helping with festival set ups, and volunteered in a couple of communities with garden work, cleaning, dishwashing, vegetable cutting and general maintenance activities. Our preference is to experience living in communities with a spiritual and sustainability focus and to explore diffferent ways of living together in harmony with each other and the natural world. We want to put our time and energy into projects with a positive collective vision for a new humanity. For example we have volunteered at
Divinya community in Sweden and Govardhan ecovillage in India and with smaller eco-living projects in France and Portugal . Liz is a qualified yoga teacher, keen gardener with a Permaculture Design Certificate and has 20 year career as a programme leader for various community based sustainability initiatives. Charlie has a background in working with deaf people , theater and clowning and has been a board member of an arts trust operating a community theatre . We enjoy music, dancing, theatre, walks and adventures in nature and conscious creative connections.

We have years of life and work experience behind us in pur respective careers (Liz as project manager in local government and Charlie as hearing therapist and director of deaf theatre) but at this stage in our lives we are very happy just chipping in and lending a hand where needed . We are pretty versatile and willing to give most things a go. We are friendly, intelligent and adaptable and willing to learn.
