A Dutch, Digital Nomad here, working as a part-time Management Assistant for a medical company. My work allows me to be location independent, so I take advantage of that as much as I can!

Hi guys,

A Dutch (new) digital nomad here, enjoying the freedom to travel so long as these feet will take her!

I was first introduced to this life by my boyfriend Roel, who is a Copy-/Travelwriter living the digital nomad dream for some years now.

I managed to find myself a freelance job in doing what I do best: All-round administrative work. This job allows me the freedom to go anywhere and work remotely from anyplace. Ideal situation, one would say. Absolutely true.
However, when you are your own boss and you travel to a different country, you don't automatically gain colleagues, which is why it can be difficult to hang out with the locals.

This is where Workaway saves the day!
I would love to find hosts where I can combine my work with their preferences. Travelling alone or even as a couple can bring some loneliness with it, since we have left our family & friends behind, but finding friends on the road makes up for a lot!

Of course, travelling wouldn't be complete without meeting a furry friend or two. Due to our lifestyle we are not able to have pets, therefore petsitting is something we do every now and then. We love all animals, but I do have to say that cats are at the top of our list! We are a cat-family. Meaning, every member of my family (from mother's side) has cats.

Roel and I see this as a win-win situation: You have two reliable and experienced petsitters who will take care of your pets and house and we get to have pets again, even if it's for a short period.

I'm handy when it comes to carpentry; fixing small stuff in and out the house. Electrical engineering I know nothing about. I'm definitely a cleaning expert, I love doing that! And when it comes to organising and administrative work I'm definitely your go-to gal!

I've lived in England, Norway and Bulgaria and what I love about living abroad is learning about new cultures. Every country has taught me something, whether it's a new way of thinking or making a dish in a different way, so I'm looking forward to make new friends who have a willingness to share their culture with me.
