Hi everyone! We’re Gianluca and Cecilia, an Italian couple about to start a new adventure in Australia! 🌏
We’ve joined Workaway because we love travelling, discovering new places, meeting people from all over the world and learning by doing. We believe the best way to really understand a place is to live it from the inside — helping, sharing, and getting our hands dirty if needed! 🪏
We enjoy backpacking adventures, whether it's with a tent or just our essentials. We feel at home in nature and are always happy to lend a hand wherever it’s needed. 🎒

We’re both open-minded, curious, and eager to experience different ways of living. We enjoy working outdoors, taking care of animals, gardening, cooking, and learning new skills wherever we go. 🤙🏼

We speak Italian and English, and Cecilia also speaks a bit of Portuguese.
What really makes us happy is feeling part of a community, exchanging stories and laughter, and ending the day tired but satisfied after doing something meaningful.

🍊Cecilia has a degree in Animal Science and a real passion for working with animals and she likes to do photography. 🍋Luca studied communication design, he loves drawing and cooking (he is a very tidy person, maybe too much, lol)

- Both of us have experience working as waiters and in hospitality.
- We’ve done seasonal work selling food and drinks at concerts in Italy.
- We participated in many grape harvests in France, working hard and learning a lot about agricultural life.
- We also know how to work in groups and as a team
- We’re confident with basic gardening and outdoor maintenance.
- We’re very comfortable around animals, and we always treat them with care and respect.
- We’re fast learners, adaptable, easy-going, and not afraid to get our hands dirty!
- We find it rewarding to see what we’ve accomplished at the end of the day.
- We speak Italian (mother tongue) and English.
