I've used Workaway back in 2017 when I was travelling around Ireland with my then partner. I hope to use it again from june to august 2025 as I'll be traveling to Australia. If you are looking for references, don't hesitate to ask me!

More details about your skills
General skills are : meal planning and cooking in small or big quantities (I'm a pretty good home-cook and have worked in restaurants too), preserving fresh produce (jams, pies, sauces, pickling, fermenting), gardening and homesteading (I grew up on a small farm), a bit of general maintenance/bulding (I can confidently use small power tools, and have started to build more seriously with a band saw and miter saw), soapmaking and creation of any skincare products, knitting/crochet, sewing and home-made remedies. I'm also quite a neat freak and can sweep up a place sparkling clean like no one else haha
Creative skills are: I'm a decent painter for bigger decoration projects (I have completed a full mural at home and would love to do more!) and have just started using Adobe Fresco to expand my graphic design skills beyond Canva.
Childcare : in my younger years I was a summer camp counselor for 8 summers, entertaining large groups of children from 6 to 16 y/o, with and without special needs, so I have a lot of creativity to share and I'm very experienced in childcare.
Professional skills are: I am an occupationnal therapist and thus have extensive knowledge on many health care subjects, rehabilitation and home adaptations for folx with disabilities. As an academic and PhD student, I have advanced skills in research and data collection (qualitative and quantitative), very good with the computer and anything Microsoft related (Word, Excel, etc.). Comfortable enough with more advance coding softwares for data anlysis such as R and SPSS.Age

What else ...
I enjoy immensely the outdoors: walking, hiking, swimming, snorkeling, kayaking, just being out in the garden or the fields... I love cycling a lot and try to use the bike as my main mean of transportation when I can. I've done many cycling trips, my most memorable being around Scotland. I also practice yoga and meditation regurlarly. In my free time in the evenigns or on a rainy day I'll usually be reading, writing, painting, kitting/crocheting or watching a good movie/show.
