Description
Hello! my name is Caroline Duncan-Gilmour. I am the middle child of 4 kids. I grew up in a small town in upstate New York, playing in the woods behind my house and hiking, climbing and swimming in the nearby Shawangunk mountain range. I have spent the majority of my summers, exploring the wilderness, learning about local plants, animals and wildlife and discovering my place on this earth as a healer and learner and conscience being. I have spent the past year, first studying theatre on Shakespeare's Globe stage in London, and then working as an intern on a Sheep farm in Vermont, learning the trade of fiber farmer; where I cared for over 70 sheep, 30 chickens, donkeys, ducks, geese, horses, goats and alpacas. I also learned to garden and harvest the plants to make natural dyes for the wool that do not contribute to the pollution of the planet. I am passionate about sustainable, organic farming, and pursuing a fulfilling, form of work and exchange that exists beyond the limits of modern monetary constructs. I would like to give with the skills, able body and love I possess, and learn, travel and connect in exchange.
