Hello there! :)

My name is Carina, I’m 24 years old and currently living in Austria. I’ve just finished my university studies in politics and economics, and planning to do a gap year until next summer (summer 2026). I’ve always wanted to go abroad and now I want to make my dream finally come true.

I’m a very open-minded and cheerful person (at least my friends are describing me like that). I really love getting to know new people, experiencing new work activities, learning new languages and exploring new places around the world.
These things are also the main reasons why I want to do this gap year - to broaden my horizont and learning completely new things.

I have experience in teaching (mostly students) and moderating events (more details below). I love to work with people. I also enjoy being active at work and having variety in my tasks.

Sport has always been a big part of my life. I’m dancing since I’m a little child. I was doing gymnastics and acrobatics for some time in the past, and are currently having an obsession with running and hiking.

Besides sports, I love playing the piano, enjoy reading books, and spending time with friends and/or animals. I had a dog when I was younger, and always enjoyed working and playing with him.

But besides all these things that I love and already have gained experiences: I plan to use my time abroad to learn and try as many new things as I can! :)

I would love to teach languages - I can teach English and German. I would also love to learn new languages, especially Spanish! My goal is to improve my Spanish - this is one of the main reasons, why I wanted to make my gap year in South America.

I am a certified trainer in the field of youth and adult education (I have completed two certified training programs). In my job, I conduct seminars with both young people and adults. On the other hand, I professionally moderate all kinds of events.

As mentioned before, I love to work with people. I also enjoy being active at work and having variety in my tasks - and learning new tasks & skills :)

Besides my professional job, I have also experiences in any kind of house work: cooking, cleaning, a little bit of gardening, etc.
