  • Description

Hola! I'm Callum, and I'm an adventure-seeker at heart. I love to challenge myself by stepping out of my comfort zone, exploring new cultures and trying new things.

One of my favorite ways to connect with the world around me is by spending time outdoors, especially hiking. I find solace in nature and enjoy observing wildlife in their natural habitats. As an animal lover, I often seek out opportunities to spend time with furry friends.

With a creative and playful personality, I find joy in making people laugh and smile.

For me, life is all about embracing the unknown, seeking new experiences, and learning from them. I'm always ready for my next adventure, and I'm excited to see where it takes me.

More details about my language interests
I have spent the last two years working in the evening at a school, mentoring students ranging from 11 to 18 years old. I have helped develop them into confident and responsible young adults, providing guidance and support whenever needed. In addition, I have organized and led numerous school trips, creating unforgettable experiences for students while ensuring their safety and well-being. I pride myself on being a trusted and approachable confidante for my students, always willing to listen and offer advice. I briefly taught English during the summer of 2022, which led me to work at Eton College, where I have taught at a Japanese summer school. This has allowed me to share my passion for language and culture with students from around the world, while honing my own skills as an educator.

  • More details about your skills

I like to think of myself as a jack-of-all-trades, master of some. My skills include business and politics, but let's be real, I'm no political mastermind. I just know a thing or two about how the world works.

One thing I am proud of is my discipline. I've found that it beats motivation every time, especially when it comes to getting out of bed in the morning. I'm not always successful, but I try my best. My social skills are pretty decent, too. I mean, I can hold a conversation with a plant if I have to. Empathy is my middle name, and I try to understand people's perspectives as much as I can.

I also happen to have good physical endurance and strength, which is handy when it comes to carrying all my textbooks around. And while I may not be an Olympian, I can at least run a few miles without passing out. I hope this can translate to cultivating new skills in building, or in farming and generally helping out.

All jokes aside, I'm always striving to learn and grow. I'm not perfect, but I'm constantly working to improve myself and my skills. And hey, if all else fails, at least I can learn from those mistakes to be better next time.

  • What else ...

As a young man of 21, I am constantly reminded of how much there is to learn in this world. It's humbling, really, but also incredibly exciting. I am eager to soak up knowledge like a sponge, and I'm always on the lookout for new opportunities to grow and enrich my life.

One of the most transformative experiences for me has been discovering the world of books. It's like a door has been opened to a whole new universe, full of ideas, perspectives, and stories that I never knew existed. Reading has given me a deeper understanding of the world and my place in it, and it has fueled my passion for seeking new experiences.

Of course, I still enjoy the physical pursuits that have always been a part of my life, like hiking and swimming. But lately, I've found that curling up with a good book can be just as exhilarating. And when I'm not reading, you might find me in the kitchen, experimenting with new recipes, or at the movie theater, immersing myself in the stories of others.

As I embark on this journey of discovery, I know that there will be challenges and setbacks along the way. But I am ready to take them on with open arms and a hungry mind. After all, isn't that what life is all about?
