Hi, my name is Boyu. I'm currently living in Hungary and have spent 5 years here. Before that, I was in Beijing for 13 years.

I'm studying in an international christian school and will start my senior year in September. I don't have the faith, but I love this community because it has introduced me to different perspectives and cultures, and the kindness of everyone.

I'd say I'm an introvert. It’s always the little things in life that make me happy, like listening to podcasts on my commute, wandering aimlessly around the city, making origami, getting up at 4am to see empty streets gradually fill with light, stay alone in a quiet environment, watching the movement of the clouds, gazing at the moon, watering my plants and so on.

I used to learn gouache and oil painting in interest classes for 5 years and 2 years respectively. And I often volunteer inside and outside of school, such as working with customs and decorations for musical, painting walls, handing out flyers, organizing donated items, and helping the charitable organization (Salvation Army) with chores, sorting and more. I also have the basic knowledge of Java, and need to improve.
