Bonjour à toutes et à tous !
Je m'appelle Birte et je suis allemande. Je vais bientôt terminer mon master (j'ai étudié l'anglais et le français pour devenir enseignante) et j'aimerais beaucoup voyager avant de commencer mon travail d'enseignante en janvier '24.
J'ai 25 ans, j'aime les langues (comme vous l'avez peut-être deviné d'après mes études), j'aime rencontrer de nouvelles personnes du monde entier et je suis enthousiaste à l'idée de participer à des échanges interculturels.
Pendant mon temps libre, j'aime passer du temps dans la nature, jardiner, essayer de nouvelles choses ou flâner dans les marchés aux puces. Lorsque je ne suis pas à l'extérieur, j'aime cuisiner, bricoler ou lire.
Je serais ravie de vous aider dans toutes les tâches qui se présentent tout en améliorant mes compétences en français/anglais et en apprenant à mieux connaître votre culture.
Je suis une personne positive et sociable, j'apprends vite et je suis heureuse de m'intégrer dans un nouvel environnement et une nouvelle famille.

Hello everyone!
My name is Birte and I am from Germany. I am about to finish my Master's degree (I studied English and French to become a teacher), and I would love to travel before I start my job as a teacher in January '24.
I am 25 years old, love languages (as you may have guessed from my studies), enjoy meeting new people from all over the world and am excited about intercultural exchanges.
In my free time, I like to spend time outdoors, gardening, trying new things, or strolling around flea markets. When I'm not outdoors, I like to cook, do handicrafts, or read.
I would love to help you with any tasks that come up while improving my French/English skills and learning more about your culture.
I am a positive, outgoing person, a quick learner and happy to integrate into a new environment and family.

Comme mes parents ont un jardin dans lequel ils cultivent beaucoup de légumes, j'ai déjà une certaine expérience dans ce domaine. Mes grands-parents avaient également une ferme où j'ai assisté à toutes sortes de travaux (faire du bois, nourrir les animaux, traire les vaches, etc.) J'ai l'habitude d'aider là où l'on a besoin d'aide et j'aime aussi donner un coup de main pour des choses que je n'ai jamais faites auparavant.
J'ai déjà travaillé deux fois comme fille au pair (une fois en Nouvelle-Zélande et une fois en Suisse), c'est pourquoi j'ai aussi de l'expérience dans ce contexte.


ENGLISH

As my parents have a garden in which they grow a lot of their own vegetables, I already have some experience in this field. My grandparents also used to have a farm where I helped with all kinds of work (making wood, feeding animals, milking cows, etc.). I am used to helping where help is needed and I also like to lend a hand with things I have never done before.
I have already worked as an au pair twice (once in New Zealand and once in Switzerland), which is why I also have experience in this area.
