Bex is 23 years old, Lucy is 24 and we are both from the UK. We both have been backing for a while now and met each other whilst travelling in Western Australia. After road tripping Western Australia together we kept in contact and have since travelled some amazing places together and with friends. We feel motivated and at our happiest when surrounded by nature, animals and good food.

Lucy has studied Spanish at University and is always keen to practise. She also has experience teaching Spanish and English to children and young adults and is happy to tutor those keen on learning either language! Bex has a TEFL diploma and would be happy to teach English to those keen to learn. We are both interested in other cultures/languages, so the opportunity to learn a new language sounds great!

Together we have a lot of experience in lots of different fields of work.
Bex- I played soccer in Upstate New York for North Country Community College and studied health sciences, just before corona virus hit. After the pandemic I became a swimming teacher at home and taught children from ages 3 years to 12 years. I taught for a year before leaving to go travelling and absolutely loved it. Im also an avid painter and in my spare time I use acrylics to create small pieces of art work and have some experience painting walls and outdoor furniture. I can drive and also hold a valid Uk driving license.
Lucy- I am a confident Spanish speaker, as this was my degree at the University of Bristol, and I am always looking to use/practise the language! Similar to Bex, I have extensive experience in hospitality (particularly bartending) and in customer-facing roles throughout the service industry. I have also recently worked as an au pair in Spain looking after 3 children under the age of 12, and I have tutored in Spanish and English for children and young adults. I am a qualified PADI advanced diver and also have experience in teaching swimming, as I was an assistant swim instructor for over a year at my local pool. I also hold a valid UK drivers license and am confident driving larger vehicles.
Furthermore, I am interested in writing and have some experience editing and publishing articles for different media outlets (including student newspaper and a national lifestyle magazine) and have also worked in writing for marketing purposes at an English institution in Valencia.
We both have references for pet and house-sitting, mainly caring for domestic animals including large dogs, which we are happy to provide :)

What else ...
We both love nature and travelling, and have been travelling for the last year or so, which has been amazing. We are both open-minded to new cultures and love learning about others peoples' ways of life. We enjoy a good card game or hike and just generally being outdoors! Lucy is particularly enthusiastic about food and loves preparing and tasting new things.
