Hey there, My name is Benji🌝I’m 20 years old an I just graduated from school in Germany and am now taking a gap year to travel thought central and South America . I’m very keen on seeing the world and meeting new people to get to know their cultures :)

About me:
I’d describe myself as a bit nerdy, as I like technology very mouch and I love learning new skills. I think I’m a practical person when it comes to problem solving.

Besides that I love surfing, hiking, being in nature, and music. I take my ukulele wherever I go.
I also like working with my hands. I spent half a year living in South Africa on a student exchange and learned a lot about myself, different lifestyles and foreign cultures. I'm a practical, easygoing person who enjoys helping out wherever I can. 😋
I did 2 volunteering projects while my recent stay in Costa Rica. I’ve worked on a fruit farm in the middle of the jungle and did dog-/housesitting so I’d say I’m used to life as a volunteer by now :D

I like teamwork.
I’ve worked for 6 months in a nursing home and care center in Germany, where I gained some valuable experience, learned to be reliable, patient, and work with others as a solid team. 🫡

I live in the bavarian countryside and therefore I’m in touch with lots of animals. I’m always happy to help take care for them. Whether it's feeding, walking, cleaning or just spending time with them. 🐶🐴🐓

I enjoy sports like surfing very mouch but also any other types of physical activity, and working in social or community settings. I’m excited to be part of local life, contribute my energy, and make friends along the way :)

Emma has a lot of experience with animals, especially horses, dogs, and other farm animals. She’s confident with feeding, grooming, mucking out, and giving animals the attention they need. She’s also well-organized, focused, and happy to take initiative with daily tasks – whether it’s outdoor work, cleaning, or helping around the house. Emma is calm, empathetic, and good at connecting with people, even in new or challenging situations.

Benji is a hands-on person who enjoys practical work. He’s comfortable using tools, helping with repairs, and doing physical tasks that require some strength and common sense. He’s spent time abroad, which has made him flexible and open to different ways of living. He’s also creative and musical, and brings a relaxed, positive energy to group settings. Like Emma, he has experience with animals and is always happy to lend a hand wherever it’s needed.

We both have experience in the catering industry.
