Hello,
I am a 20-year-old Dane/Kiwi who loves visiting new places, experiencing different cultures, and enjoying the various landscapes and lifestyles that the world has to offer.
I find joy in helping and being around others. I'm also fond of children and animals, and value the unique company they provide.
I like to spend each day engaging in activities, learning something new, and feeling a sense of accomplishment every day.

More details about my language interests
I love learning new languages, and how they convey different cultues. I am fluent in English and Danish, and would be happy to teach either languages. I have spent the last 6 years learning German in school, and can get by, but would be happy to learn more. I have spent the past 3 years going to Japanese classes, and can convey basic sentences. I would love the oppportunity to learn any language, as it is one of my bigger interests.

I have spent the past year working in social care, for people with mental disabilities. This includes supporting them in all kinds of everyday tasks, from waking up and getting them ready in the morning to getting ready for bed at night. This has giving me lots of experience in the following: Assisting with daily hygiene and keeping a clean liveable environment. Making and preparing proper diets, including breakfast, lunch and dinners. Supporting and guiding in everyday tasks, like shopping, going for walks, washing and folding clothes, taking daily medicine and all other basic needs.
I have also worked in a food packaging company that required quite a bit of lifting and constant movement, so I am also used to more physically intense and exhausting work.
I do enjoy cooking for myself and family as well, and like cooking food from all over the world, at least a few times a week.

What else ...

As previously stated i love being outside in nature and being active. This includes sports, which of i have played Rugby for many years and Basketball more recently, but like playing any kinds of sports as a pastime.
I like playing the occasional game of cards or some boardgames. A few favorites being Liverpool Rummy, President, Splendor and more.
I do enjoy reading, but it is more my nightly routine rather than an active hobby.
