I am currently studying Biology at university. I'm really interested in the natural world and enjoy spending time with or near animals. I am most at peace in the outdoors and love hiking, canoeing, camping and fishing. I'm keen to meet people from different cultures and backgrounds and am always interested in learning about their unique life experiences. I enjoy philosophy, reading and travel and exploring different approaches to living.

I'm hardworking and happy to turn my hand to anything. I have experience of working in retail where I sold fishing bait, licences and equipment, gave advice about fishing to customers, worked with cash at the tills and managed stocks in a shop environment. I've looked after dogs, hens and a wide variety of exotic pets as well as helping with lambing and am happy to help out in all aspects of animal care. I have good outdoors skills in terms of hiking, camping, catching my dinner and cooking over a fire. I've taken part in a couple of large observational studies and have skills in identifying and recording flora and fauna.
