Hi! I'm Astrid, a 20-year-old french girl. I'm an engineering student in Food and Health Science.

Coming from a farming family, I've always had a passion for nature and animals. In my daily life, I really enjoy doing sports, cooking, and eating good food. I'm independent but like sharing these moments with my friends and family. I love spending time with children and teaching them new things (but often we also learn a lot from them).

I'm new on Workaway ! I think it's a good opportunity to meet new people, share good times together, and learn about different lifestyles while making myself useful.

French is my native language and I would be delighted to teach it at any level. I'm also fluent in English and would like to continue practicing it. Thanks to a university exchange to Mexico, I am comfortable in Spanish as well.

I grew up next to my family's farm. So I was used to looking after the animals, milking the cows and helping with the production of dairy products. In addition to the family garden, I've already had several experiences as a market gardener. I therefore enjoy working outdoors in contact with nature.

Thanks to my studies, I speak English and Spanish fluently. During the school year, I help with homework (especially maths and physics) for pupils aged between 13 and 17, but I also enjoy looking after younger children.

Thanks to my passion for food, it's always a pleasure to cook for others and try out new recipes.
