Description
Ciaooo, I’m Anto!! I’ve joined Workaway because of my love for traveling. To me, this means embarking on new adventures and embracing new experiences, discovering new places, and getting in touch with different cultures. The things that make it most special, though, are the beautiful bonds you create along the way, the unforgettable memories you get to treasure, and especially, what you learn along the way.
I don’t believe a few words can say much about a person but I’ll try my best. I’m proud to be the guy who uses his heart as his compass, who’s feeling, passionate, and caring. I’m also open-minded and curious, which makes me prone to learn and expand my horizons. Lastly, I’m an enterprising guy, who enjoys experimenting and challenging himself, and who’s always ready to embrace new experiences. Anyway, all this makes me value and prefer a more honest and meaningful approach to things and people, but at the same time, I can be the guy who loves to just be light-hearted, light-minded, and silly.
Since I love experimenting, my interests are always expanding. For starters, I love being in nature and hiking mesmerizing trails in the mountains. I haven’t done it very much in the past but I definitely look forward to doing it much more in the future. I also love to do artsy things, but mostly, to write and craft. Recently, I started playing the songs I enjoy most on the piano, as I love listening to music, dancing, and singing my heart out. Moreover, I try to keep myself fit by exercising, and I do some yoga and meditation to practice mindfulness. Lastly, I’m passionate about cinema and literature (I don’t read much though, I’m more of a movie/series guy) because I believe that from every little story, you can always learn a new lesson and something different about yourself.

Even if I’m already fluent in English, there’s always space for improvement and I’d very much appreciate some practice. Also, I love to learn some cool phrases or idioms from the places I travel to or the people who accompany me. However, If I had to chose one language to properly learn, right now it would probably be French.

I am hard-working because I put care into everything I do. That's why, if I decide to take on a task, rest assured I’m going to do it the best way I can. I have experience looking after a house, doing some cleaning and manual work, cooking meals, and caring for children and animals. I volunteered as a teacher in Morocco, helped renovate a land in Greece, and did some creative work for an English organisation for inclusive learning. I’m a fast learner keen to build new skills. That’s why, if I am unfamiliar with a particular task, I find out all I need to know to perform it well.
