Profile information

Description
Hi everyone!
My name is António Pedro (usually I go by Pedro, or even Peter is fine) and I'm from Portugal, the beautiful small country by the sea that is often mistaken as being Spain's backyard :)
I'm a very outgoing and relaxed individual with interests in several topics, and I would love to expand my work and language skills while being a workawayer.
I joined the platform to take on new challenges and explore the world while connecting with people from all over. I've always loved setting myself out of my comfort zone, but I've only done it outside of my own country when studying abroad, so this seemed like a great opportunity to do so!

More details about your skills
I graduated in Foreign Languages and Cultures, but since then I've worked in lots of different contexts: from being a translator to working in a hostel and even building stages for music shows!
Taking that into account I'd say I'm versatile and multi-skilled: I perform well under pressure; I'm a good problem solver and critical thinker; I'm a "team player" but I can also do just fine by myself; I'm tech-savvy; I adapt quickly and easily to new work environments; I'm able to speak 3 languages fluently (Portuguese, English and Spanish), I'm trying to get better at a 4th (Italian) and learn a 5th (French).

What else ...
- I'm a football aficionado.
- Video games and board games are a big part of my life (shout out to all the Catan players out there).
- Music is present in every day of my life, and I try to do music at home (just as a hobby though).
- I take pictures for fun (mostly analogue just because I enjoy the whole concept of it, but I don't know anything about photography to be honest).
- Cinema used to be a big part of my life as well, but recently I lost track of it a bit (Youtube has ruined me, I think).
- I love going out and socialising, meeting new people, making new friends, and discovering new places.
