Hello everyone!

My name is Anna and I live in Brno, Czech republic. I was born here and attended bilingual high school where I learned French. I continued my studies in Brno where I obtained master's degree in Mechanical engineering at Brno University od Technology. I decided to stay at school and I am currently pursuing a PhD title in Biomechanics. I also have a part time job as an engineer in international automotive company focusing on development of turbochargers. And when I have some free time, I work as a tutor in mathematics for young kids.

I try to spend my free time mostly actively. I love climbing which I started when I was at high school and never get bored of it. I love the people within climbing community and I am always meeting some new climbing buddies. In summer time, I try to get to moutains as much as I can either to climb or to hike. Hiking is another passion of mine which always brings smile to my face. Basically, when I am running around mountains I am one big ball of sunshine.

I also love animals, especially dogs. I am the kind of person that never refuses to cuddle with dogs even if I end up being super dirty and covered in dog hair. My sister has a 6 year old ridgeback called Bruno at home, so naturally I love to spend time with him.

Whenever I have more free time, I love to travel abroad. Lately it is mainly some low budget traveling, mainly backpacking around mountains. I like to have adventures while traveling, meeting new people and just have new experiences in general. Basically, stereotypical holiday such as lying at a beach is not something I would be looking forward to.

I see workaway as I great opportuinity to try something different while exploring new places. I am always inclined to try and learn new things and also meeting new people and sharing our life stories together.

More details about my language interests
When I finished my high school studies, I was fluent in French but since I am not actively using it, it got a little rusty. I would love to have an opportuinity to have a conversation in French to revive it a little.
