Hello! My name is Anna and I am an artist/designer and seamstress from Devon in the UK. I have been working and travelling in Australia for the past 2 years and have had some incredible experiences so far. Last year I cycled from Melbourne to Alice Springs through the desert, which was an unforgettable journey in which I met so many amazing helpful people along the way. I am now planning my next adventure in Tasmania, and would love to enrich my experience through some Workaway stays.

I have a background studying fashion design and sculpture, and as an artist have made textile installations, sculpture, video and performance. Through my travels I am looking for artistic and creative exchanges, to expand my knowledge of different ways of living, creating art and connecting with others. I would love to exchange and learn new skills, and meet other creatives along the way.
I am also keen to learn more about permaculture and sustainable off grid living, after doing some amazing Workaway experiences in this already. I am vegan and therefore keen to stay with hosts who live a predominantly vegetarian/vegan lifestyle.

I am looking for Workaways with a focus on art, culture, creativity, making, collaboration, learning and nature, but I am also an open and adventurous person up for trying anything new!

- Renovating and painting - I work professionally as a painter decorator, in an all female decorating team in London. I would love to offer these skills to help with any renovation/painting/building projects.
- Artistic, creative and practical skills in making and sewing. I have experience sewing clothing as well as large textile sculptures and installations.
- Photography and video
- Although I wouldn't name myself a head chef I love to bake and try new recipes!
- I have worked as a teaching assistant in art classes for children, where I loved helping the children unleash their creativity

I love to try new things and pick up new skills quickly, I get stuck in and work hard, never afraid to get my hands dirty!
