Hi I'm Ann I was an English teacher in a college teaching adults the English language, however after Covid I decided to take a sabbatical and volunteer in countries where the main language is Portuguese!

I mainly travelled to Cape Verde exploring the different islands!

My main aim is to perfect my speaking of Portuguese! Hence I'm looking for a Workaway that will allow me to be immersed in Portguese, the culture and the language!

I visit Portugal a lot mainly Lisbon but have been to many places outside of the city!

I love working with people and will take on any task as long as its explained well or shown to me, I'm sure I'll master it!

I can teach the English Language, I love cooking and will try any dish! I can do small tasks around the house, look after children (my son is now 27!). I love being outdoors and willing to do any tasks required! I don't have pets but I have looked after my son's cat and a friend's 4 dogs! I'm hapy to look after plants as well!

I'm a very active person and do yoga 3/4 times a week and love walking! I dance kizomba as well so will head into Lisbon occassionally to satisfy this passion!
