Hi all! I'm Moon, a creative, colorful and spiritual being and I love to travel, learn new things, evolve myself, and create beautiful things as well as connections!
In my life I have never had a single big passion/career/hobby but I've always been interested in expanding my knowledge and skills and I'm a fast learner. I am really good at being pretty good at things, as you can see in the skills section :')
I love exchanging knowledge, co-creating with people and learning/growing together. I strongly believe in focusing on peoples strengths and clear communication is important for me.
I'm a spiritual, adventurous, spontaneous, creative, bubbly and very caring person. My heart starts to beat faster when I'm making, creating, listening or dancing to music. Disclaimer: I will sing and hum when I feel good (most of the time). If that ever gets on your nerves, just tell me to kindly shut up as I don't even realise I do it most of the time.

I've always been good at languages, I just have a feel for how different languages work, for the pronunciation and the way words should be written. It's been an interest of mine since forever and I love learning new languages as well as the history of words. I would be very comfortable teaching either English or Dutch, I could definitely teach a good solid base of French. I am in the process of learning Spanish (decent conversational level, did an exchange last year translating Spanish to English in Mexico) and Portuguese (very basic level) so would love more practice/lessons on those languages.

Hospitality - I've worked in pretty much all parts of hospitality since I was 14. Done a bunch of serving, hosting, catering, cooking, cleaning, etc, in bars, restaurants, cafés, 5-star hotels and resorts/retreats.
Event Production - I've been in the event-organization industry for 12 years now, where I've done many different productions, ranging from organizing intimate performance dinners for 10 people to setting up festivals for 10.000 people with my team.
Heavy work and Tetris - I work for different tent-building companies in The Netherlands. We build up and break down tents for festivals, so it is a perfect combo for me of puzzling skills and heavy physical work.
Carpenting - I am by no means a carpenter, but I do know the basics and have a logical sense of how things work or should be made. Would definitely like to enhance this skill by the way!
Painting - My father has been a painter (houses and art) for 40 years and I've learned a lot from him, worked for over two years with him in total. I've done deco and murals on festivals in Europe, I'd love to get creative at your workaway!
Sewing - I have been sewing since I was a little kid, learned the basics from my grandmother. I am not an expert in making my own clothes and patterns but I am very decent at fixing stuff.
Performing - I am a performer in the broadest sense, a musician, a singer, an actress, I love the spotlight and love to create experiences. I could give singing lessons as well.
Gardening/Farmwork - I don't have a lot of experience on this since I've lived in places without gardens and land most of my life. I love nature though and would love to gain more knowledge on this. I am not at all afraid to get my hands dirty.
Computer skills - I am decent in Excell/Word, have some experience creating website through Wix and have very basic knowledge on Music production using Logic Pro. I am currently learning (by doing) to work with Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro. I have my own interface and Condensor mic (for recrding voices professionally), so if you need any recording done, I can help with that!
Social Media - I have about 5 years of experience in creating content and posting on Facebook and Instagram for a mayor festival in The Netherlands. This was at least 6 years ago though, so a lot has changed in the meantime. Also, this is definitely not something I enjoy putting a lot of time in, but can think along or help you get started for sure. I have no experience in any other channels and no desire to gain it;)
Writing - I am good at writing texts in English and Dutch, good at those languages in general. I am a copywriter and proofreader in both languages, as well as a translator from English to Dutch or the other way around. I also speak/write French pretty well and am learning Spanish.
Organizing/cleaning - I am a complete perfectionist and get a huge kick out of organizing things clearly and nicely an making things pretty. I preferably clean very thoroughly, and therefore not always very fast but can get the job done more roughly/faster as well.
Tutoring/Coaching - I have experience tutoring English and Dutch to both kids and grownups. I am a leader by example and I have years of experience leading people and teams.
Creating - I am a very creative being and generally have a lot of ideas how to make something from scratch or make something better/more efficient. This can be in many fields:)
Caregiving - Since I was 11 I have done a lot of babysitting, when I was 19 I went to France to be an au pair for a year and I am generally an extremely caring person. I've taken care of children, older people, sick people and pets.
Some other skills I have: I am a great listener, I make people feel good/welcome, I'm a very good driver (car and truck and forklift licence, very good on motor but no official licence), I am a fast and eager learner. Also I finished a massage training of one year, and I love to give intuitive massages!
