Hello! My name is Andrew, and I'm a 24-year-old traveler, environmental educator, and visual storyteller from Asheville, North Carolina. I rock climb, avidly play board games and read, want to become more musical, and am generally interested in learning new skills from new people. I'm also super into intentional communities and alternative lifestyles (though I suppose that's pretty common here,) I've lived and work on multiple farms/community gardens both via workaway and otherwise, mostly during the two years I spent living in my old van, Appa.

I've spent the past year traveling around Europe and a bit of Canada, visiting friends, surfing hostels, and doing work-aways! I really enjoyed my experience and learned a whole lot, but I am headed back home now and looking for somewhere where I can live simply and work on something bigger. I have a part-time remote job, but otherwise I am happy to contribute to your community/farm/family!

I have work-exchanged for over a year on community farms, where I cared for livestock, tended crops, sold goods and landscaped. I also performed basic maintenance on buildings and cleaned facilities.

At museums and nature centers, I've worked with visitors as an educator and guide. I've led camps and other educational experiences for kids and adults alike.

Professionally, I am a photographer and video-maker. I am also proficient in graphic design and basic web development. I would be thrilled to figure out a way that I might use those skills to fit your needs!
