Hello! I am an enthusiastic explorer keen to have meaningful cultural exchanges around the world. I love deep conversations and hearing different stories, experiences and beliefs from around the world. I think the best way to connect is over good local food!
I am a qualified Environmental Engineer and have a passion for protecting both the environment and wellbeing of people. I love all forms of art - especially painting and woodwork - and am always keen to try out new forms. I am fortunate to have spend much of my life in the forest and near the sea, so my happy place is within nature. However, I am also an avid alleyway and backstreet explorer, always looking for hidden gems within towns.

What else ...
In my spare time I LOVE to play board games and learn new card games from different countries! I spend much of my time cooking and since 'New Zealand' food is pretty terrible, this consists of a range of other cuisines. I have rock climbed for several years now and also love any competitive team sport (especially soccer!)
