My name is Amelie and I grew up in east Germany. Going to school in a small city, I knew really fast, that I wanted to get away from there, because people were small-minded. I immediatly started to work after doing my Abitur and never got the opportunity to travel and find out what I want. Now I am in the middle of finishing my Bachelors degree in Biology and am absolutely not sure, if that is the right thing for me. I really want to get to know new countries, cultures and people, meditate, do yoga, eat new food (because honestly, the meals I am cooking were amazing for a long time, but I really need something new) and just enjoy life for some time.

In 2021 I finished my Abitur with a 1.2 at the Karl-Liebknecht-Gymnasium in Brandenburg/Germany. After that I worked voluntarily, for one year, at the hospital "BG Unfallkrankenhaus Berlin", because I wanted to gain job experience before going to university. During this, so called, FSJ (Freiwilliges soziales Jahr) I supported nurses and doctors in various tasks. I was able to gain experiences in more than one field; neurosurgery and the inner
medical section . This year was a great success for me in order to get a clearer view on the medical career path.
I started studying Biology at Humboldt-University in Berlin and might be interested in the filed of Biosecurity. At the local bookstore "Langer Blomqvist" I gained experience and social skills.

I love playing board-games, like DnD or other fantasy games. I am skilled in sewing with a machine, knitting and painting. Growing up, I lived on a small farm with chicken, sheep, dugs, a cat and a dog. I am a bookish person, who needs some quiet and rest during the day.
