  • Description

CURRENTLY IN ANDALUCIA SPAIN FOR AROUND A MONTH..
WAITING FOR PAPERS FROM GESTOR. ....SOOO AVAILABLE FOR HOUSE SITTING AS LONG AS MY MOTORHOME FITS.

    https://www.mindmyhouse.com/owners/sitter_listing/53020

To avoid confusion....there is a lot of information here😉

I always take the long road and am not a person who usually drives directly from A to B...in other words I enjoy ambling and often get distracted by places and people along my way...and sun sets and all manner of nature on this beautiful planet. So I generally only give exact arrival times if it's prior arranged...usually for housesitting because then you have a distinctive schedule.

I AM ALLERGIC TO HORSES AND CATS 🤧😭😫

I SMOKE 😬☹😳🥺🙈... ONLY OUTSIDE and I dispose of responsibly.....I do not litter. I am very aware of fire hazards.

MY SWEET LITTLE DOG WILL UNFORTUNATELY HARASS CATS AND LOOSE CHICKENS/WILDFOWL. SHE IS NOT USED TO CHILDREN AND BECAUSE SHE IS SCARED OF THEM, SHE CAN BE UNPREDICTABLE 😭🥺 So whilst I relate to children often better than adults...especially autistic/adhd kids ( I feel they are more normal than others😊) I don't think it's the best match with my dog...she was rescued...so not sure of her breeding/history.

The photos show some of my creations, and give an insight to me and what I do 👍

I am a mature woman with grown up children. I AM TRAVELLING IN MY MOTORHOME WITH MY DOG (See photo of motorhome with my dog) so just need somewhere to park it as level as possible and have access to sewer, standpipe for water and possibly an electric hook up occasionally. I am not okay to park outside your property on the street, or in a carpark nearby. I have my own accommodation and will provide and feed myself...so just think of me as a friend dropping in to help.

I can give dimensions of my motorhome on request as I would need to access your property.

I am perfectly happy with remote, isolated places and more than comfortable with my own company, I value my privacy and time alone, although I am sociable and happy to mix occasionally. My dog is very important in my world and comes above all else.

I have Spanish residency and a Spanish driving licence to drive up to 7.5 tons.
I WILL BE TRAVELLING WITH MY DOG a female 3 years old (Oct 2024) she is a medium/small dog, and very playful still like a puppy.

I am NOT doing volunteering as part of a holiday, sight seeing or as a means of accommodation. I can take it or leave it, I just like to help out and like to keep busy. I have a lot of energy and physical fitness. I adore gardening, creating and upcycling.

I prefer to cook for myself as I am GLUTEN/POTATO INTOLERANT and VEGETARIAN I fully appreciate that this is difficult for many hosts.

I have done many housesits/housesitting/ dog sitting over the years and am very reliable and trustworthy. I may be available to do housesitting for long term or short term. Also able to help on campsites/motorhome stops. Security/maintenance for properties that are waiting to be sold.

I'm not judging anyone, but prefer not to work where animals are being raised for slaughter.

I am allergic to horses but not donkeys

I was on the site for many years with a different profile when I was volunteering along with my husband and home educated daughter (now grown up and making her own way) There may be occasions where my husband comes along, but he is not in a position to help out anymore (age/health) so would keep to himself in my motorhome.

I am fit and healthy and used to being outside the comfort zone. I am more comfortable in rustic places in the countryside and prefer this to towns, cities or luxury villas. Being isolated is not a problem for me, it's a joy.

I had been a workaway helper/custodian at the same place in Spain for six years, I originally intended to stay 2 weeks but hey ho. I left each summer and returned in Autumn, as I found the summers to be too hot to work in.
I cleared grounds that had been left for 20+ years. I built ponds, built walls, made fencing from Spanish cane, maintained and improved the house and much more.

It was time to move on, and I would like very much like to do the same kind of thing(not in the same place for six years though🙃), as I like gardening and to be busy. I like to be creative, artistic and resourceful. I also enjoy problem solving, finding solutions and thinking outside of the box, and upcycling are my major.

I love wildlife photography and I'm pretty good at identifying wild orchids. I would love to do guided tours to show people orchids.

I know a little bit about a lot of things...especially keen to pass on knowledge of insects/nature etc.

I am reliable, honest and determined . I talk a lot, but am totally okay for people to tell me to be quiet🤐
I'm enthusiastic, strong, and open minded in my attitude.

I can mix cement by hand for paths or pointing.
I am familiar with generators, solar power and strimmers.

I like cycling, walking, nature, photography ,reading and writing. I love and respect all animals, so will not eat them or cook them for others. I am in awe of the natural world and often get distracted by little things that many fail to notice.

I don't like painting things because of the fumes that the paint gives off bothers my throat, but if it's eco friendly then okay but it's not my forte.

I am familiar with vegan/vegetarian/gluten free/raw food diets....basically I know about natural food (nothing that once had a face) I can be inventive in the kitchen. I am vegetarian (free range eggs but no milk or animal cheese) and gluten/potato intolerant so am happy to cook for myself as I realize it is a challenging thing for many hosts.

Hope this gives you some idea of 'me'.....if I think of anything else I'll add it in, but feel free to question me, I'm not easily offended :P🙃
Hope it isn't too long and boring...but might as well get it all said🤭
