Salut! Nous sommes Alix et Maxime, 25 ans, un couple français.
Nous avons passé 2 mois aux États-Unis dans le cadre de Workaway (dans une ferme et dans une grande maison où nous avons aidé au jardinage et à l’entretien) - une expérience incroyable !

✨ Qui sommes-nous ?

- Alix a étudié l’horlogerie et adore découvrir de nouvelles cultures.
- Maxime est un ingénieur, curieux et toujours avide d’apprendre.

Maintenant, nous avons hâte de nous rendre en Irlande 🇮🇪 pour découvrir la culture, vivre une nouvelle aventure et, surtout, améliorer notre anglais pour devenir bilingues.

Nous aimons cuisiner, jardiner, prendre soin d’une maison, faire de la randonnée et passer du temps dans la nature. Nous sommes motivés, dynamiques et toujours heureux de vous aider avec le sourire.

Nous partons principalement dans un pays anglophone pour apprendre l’anglais. Bien évidemment nous pouvons apprendre le français en échange à nos hôtes s’ils le souhaitent. We mainly go to English-speaking countries to learn English. Of course, we can also teach French to our hosts if they wish.

Maxime is an engineer specialized in flood risk. He is used to working outdoors, sometimes with his feet in the water. He also has experience in logistics, which required carrying heavy loads. Sporty and active, he regularly practices weight training and enjoys outdoor activities.

I, Alix, am a watchmaker. I have a real talent for detailed and manual work. I also enjoy painting, drawing, gardening, and cooking. I have experience working with children as a summer camp leader during my student years, and I have also worked the land thanks to my father, who is a winemaker.

During our two Workaway experiences in the United States, we learned even more about gardening, house maintenance, and teamwork. We also worked on a farm with many animals that we had to feed every day. These experiences helped us develop autonomy, a strong sense of responsibility, and an even greater desire to discover new cultures.

We love spending time outdoors: going to the beach in summer, skiing in winter, hiking, and road trips whenever possible (including a one-month road trip through Spain before heading to the USA).

Finally, we are two cheerful, sociable, and open-minded people who enjoy good food and discovering new flavors.
