Currently in Borneo, Malaysia, gonna be in Sabah soon 😊

Hey there, my name is Alina :)
I quit my job and gonna start travelling in january 2024. I'll start in Sri Lanka and in April I'll meet a travel friend in the Phillippines! Except that; many ideas where I wanna go and what I would like to do, but no fixed plan at all!

Right now I'm still working as a pediatric nurse in palliative care. I love taking care of my patients, my nieces, my friends kids and did 2 au-pairs with workaway already (in Spain and in Australia). So i would really enjoy spending time with kids again! :)
In 2016 I was part of an ocean conservative project in South Africa. We did beach clean-ups, rescuing trapped penguins and other injured animals, collected shark eggs and analizing them, school projects, helping in a township school with serving the food and a little bit of basic teaching, helping with touristic boat trips and translating for them as well.

Since I've moved out from home I've always lived in a shared flat with 'strangers' that became close friends. :) Most people would say I'm easy going, flexible, curious about new stuff and a good listener. I would love to meet some people during my travels and maybe find a travel companion as well, feel free to send a message! :)
