We are hands on, creative, and bubbly individuals who are experienced in creating connections and home wherever it is we end up! We are seeking community and the opportunity to work towards something we believe in, and to hopefully get our hands dirty. We are not afraid of hard work and are very sociable as a pair and individually!

Maya has practical abilities in woodwork, gardening, and enjoys cooking for others! Whereas Alex, having completed a degree in Fine Art, is very creative and loves getting to use her practical skills. We have worked together previously and know we make a great team as we are both empathic and personable, we would be excited for an opportunity to put these skills to use and meet some great people along the way!

While we have both been solo travelling now for a little while a goal of ours has been to find a space in which we can both come together and grow as individuals. Back home we worked in a fast paced restaurant environment together and worked out very quickly that we move through the world in a similar way.

Between us we have warm energy, big hair, and an absolute knack for making people comfortable.

Havijg Alex around just felt so easy that I almost forgot that she isn't a housemate. She was very chill with all jobs outside from almond picking to endless leadbag mulching or organising wood we cut. Our month at Mike's place was full of whimsy and wonder, and our time there was truly nothing short of fucking phenomenal. The cake bro, the cake. We woke up giggling and fell asleep giggling, we danced, we painted, and we pissed with a view - what more could you want. Bless Mike and everything he's created. We are already excited to return!
