Hello!

I'm Alessandra, a law student in London, originally from New Zealand. Growing up, I lived in over five countries, which sparked my love for travel, new cultures, and languages. Nearing the end of my degree, my sense of adventure is stronger than ever!

I’m an easy going yet hard working person who thrives in new environments. Having moved around a lot, I’ve learned to adapt quickly and embrace different ways of life. I’m eager to connect with like-minded people, exchange experiences, and contribute and help wherever I can :)

I love being outdoors and would be so grateful to learn more about sustainability, off-the-land living, and community-based projects. Scandinavia has always fascinated me—the stunning landscapes and deep connection to nature make it my dream destination. I’m especially interested in hands-on work like gardening, painting, DIY projects, or caring for animals.

Hiking is another passion of mine—my first solo trip was trekking through southern Germany, and I often add hiking or camping to my travels. I’m also passionate about cooking and love making meals inspired by the places I’ve lived, with a focus on fresh, unprocessed ingredients.

Hi yes native english speaker happy to teach or help with english anytime! Have also learnt both french and German in school (however my listening now is far better than my speaking unfortunately) but would be happy to do some sort of language exchange (even with a new language) even if just learning for fun.

With a big family and four years of babysitting and nannying experience, I’m very comfortable taking care of children. I’ve also worked in hospitality, which has helped me connect with new people easily and given me experience cooking and coming up with meal ideas.

Beyond that, I have some hands-on experience in gardening and painting from helping my mom renovate and landscape her farm in New Zealand and working in my grandparents’ garden.

Thanks to my dad, I’ve learned a bit about home maintenance—though I defiantly call myself an expert i am very happy to help out and eager to learn.
