I am a 28-year-old Irish girl. I am currently travelling South America.

I enjoy meeting new people and living different lifestyles. I am interested in learning about different cultures and ways of life. I am an energetic and open-minded person and enjoy learning new skills. I would definitely describe myself as adventurous and creative.

I have also lived abroad in Honduras and Spain. I taught English as a foreign language and worked with kids in both countries.

I am open to volunteering in all kinds of projects. I am accustomed to working in a challenging and fast-paced environment.

My most recent job was training software, which was interesting but also extremely boring and taught me that I want a job that is outside. basically I want nature to be my office - that is the goal! I am hoping that over the course of the next few months whilst I am travelling, I will be able to volunteer in different projects that will enable me to learn more about carpentry, gardening, permaculture, sustainable living etc.


I do also have experience working in the Customer Service Industry for several years in bars and restaurants. I have learned a lot from both of these industries but ultimately I want to learn more about sustainable living and how to be more self-sufficient.

My hope is that this next chapter affords me the ability to meet some cool people, explore new places and try out new things whilst helping out with daily tasks, whatever they may be (farming, gardening, building, teaching, art, cooking, bartending, etc.)

My motive is not to learn any particular language but I have experience teaching English as a foreign language and would be happy to give lessons to someone and learn a new language in return or increase my Spanish to bring it back to fluent :)

I am quite a creative individual - painting, drawing, weaving, friendship bracelets, henna tatoos,

I have admin skills from my degree and jobs over the years. I am good a creating a filing system, proof-reading/editing documents, keeping up with correspondence, data entry, organising schedules and venues for events and trips.

I also believe have a strong leadership and team-work skills. I enjoy getting to know people and building a strong repour with my peers through good communication and trust.

But, ultimately I am looking to upskill. I am particularly interested in learning more about sustainable farming, eco-living, basic carpentry and gardening. However, I am open to learning more about anything and have no problem getting my hands dirty or exerting myself.

I am an outdoors person, I enjoy being with nature and exploring new places. In terms of my day to day I like cycling and swimming in the Irish sea all year around :)

I suffer from Peter Pan syndrome massively, I always am up for playing a game, whether it be a board game or physical game. I am always the first to jump at the opportunity of getting involved in a bit of healthy competition. I played ultimate frisbee all throughout college.

I am very passionate about food. I love to experiment in the kitchen and make new dishes. I grew up in a house with a big garden and we grew our own vegetables most summers. I aspire to live sustainably and am keen to learn more about the different way in which I can provide for myself.

Lastly, I am a big animal lover and have grown up them, mostly dogs. I adore all animals and have such an appreciation for the joy that animals bring to our lives.
