Hello! My name is Aidin, I am a 22 year old Canadian from Vancouver, BC. I love to be surrounded by nature as this is how I grew up. I love to hike, swim and explore in the areas around me and I find peace and a sense of belonging when I am out in nature. I am a lifelong skateboarder which has brought me close to people from all walks of life and got me Interested in travelling in the first place. I live to experience the uniqueness of people and to share stories and moments to understand their perspectives.
Music is also a big part of my life. I drum in a band back in Vancouver and I have been playing the guitar for a couple years as well. I love to create and build with my hands and I am a carpenter by trade. My dream is to one day build my own home. I am very interested in building and studied Architecture and Building science back in Canada. I am really interested in alternative building methods and sustainable/passive construction. I have been traveling in Europe for 3 months now and am crossing into Morocco soon and am searching for an opportunity to create, build or help out in a way that brings me close to a community. I love to build and am very experienced with building construction. I am very familiar with wood frame houses and had my own renovation company in which I did work in all stages of the construction process. This included
framing, finish work, plumbing, electrical, landscaping, concrete, bathrooms. I studied building science and architecture and am familiar with design as well as sustainable construction principles. Throughout my life I have also been a summer camp instructor. I studied principles of fundamental movements to help with sport coaching and I love being around kids.
