My name is Agathe. In 2024, I am taking on the challenge of living and traveling across Canada for a year to practice and improve my English. I see my journey in Canada as an opportunity to step out of my comfort zone, a chance to learn valuable lessons about understanding oneself, others, and our world. I believe Workaway would be ideal for full immersion, creating connections with locals, as well as other travelers. Being curious and eager for adventure, I look forward to exchanging, learning, and growing with all the people I will meet along my way.

I hope I can be useful by joining your team. I'm not afraid to roll up my sleeves, I'm motivated to learn new things. I really like cooking, share and taking care of others. Being a graphic designer, I am very sensitive to art, to manual activities, what I prefer is photography and making small video montages. If you need photos for your profile, your Facebook page or your website I would be delighted to put my passion to work. I also went horse riding and I love animals.

I am as sociable as homebody. I like discovering new places, long walks in nature. I live very close to Paris, and even here, I try every week to go out for a walk to discover new corners that I haven't explored yet. I like organizing cultural outings with my friends or just chatting with them and solving the world's problems, haha. However, I also need quiet time to recharge with a good book and the sound of falling rain.

Honestly, my English isn't advanced, but I'm really committed to improving it, which is why I've decided to immerse myself in an English-speaking country, especially Canada, which I've always wanted to explore. My job is as a graphic designer, but it's not what I want to do during the exciting year that lies ahead for my working holiday in Canada. I want to step out of my comfort zone, acquire new skills, and contribute to the daily tasks of your company. I am serious and resourceful, not afraid to roll up my sleeves.

I really enjoy cooking, so I would gladly prepare French culinary specialties. I like using my hands, so I would be happy to do some manual work. At my place, it rains 111 days a year, so I can work outdoors whether it's windy, rainy, or snowy if needed. And I'm a bit meticulous; I think it can sometimes be a good quality. I am in good physical condition and have good endurance.
