Hi, I´m Kathrin, I´m 18 years old and I live in Graz (Austria). I´m totally into horse riding: I love Icelandic horses and spend almost my whole leisure time at the stable, where I ride different Icelandic horses and look after them. I also love reading books, discussing literature or writing my own little stories. I´m friendly, open minded, conscientious person and I really hope to widen my horizons by travelling around in Europe.

I ride Icelandic horses almost every day - sometimes even more than one horse on one day - and I´ve learned a lot about these animals in the last eight years, so I think I can work quite well with these animals. I´m also familiar with different works around the stable – checking fences, mucking out, looking after injured horses, … I´m also talented in writing texts, grammar and everything concerning language – for example I´ve written an article for a magazine this summer. Moreover, I´m good in teaching and explaining things as I supported some students do perform well in school. I also like playing with children and I do it more or less once a week.

Let me tell a few more things about me...
I´am a sportive person who likes to be outside - even bad weather can´t stop me. Additionally, I always try to live a sustainable, eco-friendly lifestyle. I´m a vegetarian and I love animals. And I´ve already taken part in an international Eramsus-Project which was an amazing experience and the chance to meet people from diffrent countries of Europe. It was wonderful and I really want to be part of a cultural exchange again and learn more about diffrent cultures, espacially in Europe, because I´m intrested in the history and the culture of my home-continent.
