    Description

    Kia ora everyone

We are a family with two young children a 4-year-old girl and a 3-month-old baby boy.

We’re easy-going, respectful of space, and enjoy a balance of family time and independence.

Christchurch is an amazing base to explore the South Island – beaches, mountains, hiking, and weekend trips are all nearby.

At home, we speak Spanish and enjoy sharing cultures and languages 😊

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

We speak Spanish at home and love sharing our language and culture. We’d be happy to help you practice Spanish, English and also learn about your culture in return 😊

We also have a special connection to Workaway—we came to New Zealand ourselves as Workawayers over 11 years ago and loved it so much that we decided to stay. We understand the experience from both sides and want to create a positive, fair, and enjoyable stay for you.

Our setup works really well for digital nomads or anyone working remotely. You’ll have your own private sleepout with a bathroom and kitchenette, giving you a quiet and independent space to work and relax. The help we need is mainly in the mornings and afternoons, so there are large parts of the day free to focus on your own work or projects. We’re happy to agree on a consistent schedule so you can plan your working hours around it. We have reliable WiFi, and since the space is separate from the main house, it’s ideal if you need a calm environment for calls or focused work.
