This is a non-profit Permaculture social project, we started working with earthquake affected families in April 16th 2016, since then we aim to develope local resilient communities on the north coast of Manabi province, by using Permaculture ethics and desing principles.
We are a well-trained group of people on prevention and response of natural disasters and social contingencies with programs of education and humanitarian relief working together with local community and some others social organizations all along the ecuatorian coast.
Our goal is to develope skills on social structures with families from our small fishermen community on the north coast of Manabi, Ecuador by using our Permaculture programs as:
Agroecology (acompaining local farmers and urban gardeners)
Art & Innovation (drawing & painting, handcrafts, music teaching)
Natural building (re-building programs with local materials)
Educational activities (bakery, entrepreneurship, english classes, etc.)
Our place has a temporary (emergency) camp format. This means, our daily life goes outdoors; sleeping in tents, composting toilets, outside shower and sharing common spaces and duties, in the middle of a natural environment, sorrounded by trees, birds and the ocean breeze.

In developing countries (Where most hosts are involved in charity work or community development) some of our hosts may ask for a small donation to help the host family or charity (often less then 5 dollars per day) Workaway will allow this listing when the donation goes directly to the family or charity and is just to cover the cost of the volunteer‘s stay. (This will be clearly marked on the host listing).
We will strictly not allow listings posted by agents, “middle men” or projects who we feel are looking to profit from a volunteers stay.
