Hi...I am Claas
I came to Albania to create a space that can work for multiple purposes, withthe focus of bringing different people together to share experiences and to work on personal development.
We are a Hostel but also a safe space for all kinds of people and genders. We are a space for political development and activism.
We opened our doors in 2016 and hosted thousands of young travellers from all around the world.

We host guests from all over the world who pay for their stay. But we are also active in helping refugees who pass by on their way to western countries. It can create a big impact to have a space where these different individuals can meet and share their stories, informations and even help.
We work with locals and volunteers from different countries.
Help
We need general help with daily tasks. We are a small place and we do everything ourselves, like cleaning and maintaining the place. But also reception work or planning events.

Accommodation
We offer accommodation in a voluntary dorm. We offer two meals per day.
Volunteers have the opportunity to cook for themselves by using ingredients that we provide but can also participate in eating prepared meals by us or other volunteers. We have regular BBQ nights that have to be paid by our guests but are free to join for our volunteers.
We have regular team meetings that we usually schedule at dinner time so we give the opportunity to chat about experiences at our place or with guests as well as having the opportunity to share stories and participate in cultural exchange.

We offer 3 days off per week. We can give all kinds of information that you need to discover the country during your off days.

I miss Tirana's vibes and tranquility, I miss the generosity of their people and the smell of coffe and wet floor, the friends that we did on our way and the volunteers that stayed. This has been my best workaway experience and I will repeate it one and another again.
