  Description

  Hi all.
  
  We are a little family and live in a small village in the middle of Germany.
  We own 5 hectares of forest and meadows that we use in a lot of different ways. One would be to encourage people to come and enjoy the peace and quiet here.
  
  We need help! Please! With pretty much everything:
  - making firewood and tending the forest
  - building and renovating with ecological materials
  - preparing the veggie garden for the next season
  - painting and maintaining our house
  - grocery shopping, cooking and keeping the kitchen clean and tidy
  - child minding
  - reparing our campervan and redoing its interior
  - and much more!
  
  We do not expect you to do all of these tasks, but to pick and choose according to your skills and liking.
  
  We also offer to teach you, if you are interested:
  - knitting, sewing, cooking, healthy nutrition
  - working with wood from taking down trees to building furniture
  - gardening and veggie growing
  - only if you like: the running of a little nature campground on our property
  
  We welcome everybody, up to 2 adults with kids (as many as would fit in one of our cabins). Longterm is more appealing to use, because we also would like to get to know you properly!
  
  Accommodation and daily routine:
  You would live in one of our cabins in the forest without running water and kitchen. That is provided for in the main house 20 m away. During summer, we cannot promise you to have your cabin the whole time as we rent them out. But there would be the possibility to sleep in our camper van, a tent, a shelter, a hammock or just like this in the forest.
  We have lunch and dinner together. Breakfast is normally early, because we would bring our son to Kindergarten afterwards. We would love you to join us most of the times, because - as I said - we would also like to grow together as a community.
  
  My partner and I are outgoing and friendly people. We enjoy travelling and lived overseas for long periods of time. Our son is almost 4 years old now. If you think you would fit in here, please get in contact with any kind of questions.

  My partner and I lived overseas in Norway, Sweden, Finland, Ireland and Norway and did our fair bit of travelling and stayed with great hosts. So we would love to give back - being hosts ourselves and opening our home to you.

  Accommodation

  own cabin in the forest without running water, bathroom and kitchen (that is provided for in the main house 20 m away)
  or depending on the season: campervan, tent, shelter, hammock, forest floor :)
  
  We are happy to provide you with 3 full meals a day (at least 1 meal will be warm). And snacks. They will be vegan with dairy products on the side.
  If you have any dietary needs that we cannot meet like for example allergies, you are welcome to prepare your own food.
  Max 5hrs a day for full board, 3 hrs s day for accommodation only. 5 days per week (your free days are according to your wishes)

  What else ...

  There is good public transport to the big town of Göttingen and the small town of Duderstadt.
  This place lives of its peace and quiet. You can hang out in the forest, have fires and BBQs.
  The national park Harz is only 1 hrs by car. You could borrow our camper van to go there or take the train from Göttingen.
  You could borrow our bikes and enjoy trips around the area.
  
  A bit further away are the following sights:
  Kassel, Witzenhausen, Hann. Münden, national parks Hainich and Thüringer Wald, museums and traces of the former borders between the Republic of Germany and the GDR, Kyffhäuser monument, ...
  And even further: Fulda, Frankfurt, Erfurt, Leipzig etc.
  
  Much to do around here, but - honestly - most of the time we just stay in our forest and have friluftsliv :)
