Description
** looking for house and cat sitter from 18th April to 4th May ** I'm leaving on the 20/04 so need you to arrive a couple of days early to show you around. No work required except for keeping company to the cat and daily feeding and keeping an eye out on the horses in the field. Beautiful rural location, peace and quiet, many hiking routes nearby,
You get the full use of the house and electric bicycle, and i will take you grocery shopping before i leave so you have all basic needs covered but note there is NO INTERNET connection in the house unless you have your own mobile data (4g network works well).
Please get in touch asap if interested :)

Hi, I live on my own with a cat and 3 ponies (last ones are outside!), in a small traditional Irish cottage out by a hiking trail. There are a few heavy jobs that I need help with, and would also like to have someone interested in horses (even if totally new to them) to help me with positive reinforcement training (not interested in other training techniques at the moment, but happy to discuss details). I'm relatively new to it, learning from Connectiontraining.com so would mostly ask you to help me set up, keep track of time and film. None of the horses are ridden.Types of help and learning opportunities

I speak English, French and Spanish, would love to practice Spanish or learn Portuguese.
I practice and would be happy to share: yoga, meditation, acroyoga, positive reinforcement training, surf, SUP, hiking, cooking, sustainable farming, exploring local coast and mountains ...
I would love to learn about permaculture, history, climbing, ... anything new :)Help
Looking for help with house and garden projects: Gardening, wood splitting, small carpentry, and keeping of 3 outdoor ponies.
I'm new to this so will update as I go, my general thinking is you may spend half your working hours helping get these maintenance jobs done (from clearing the shed to cutting wood and garden / field work - happy to pick a job from the list that best suits your skills and the weather when you're here), and the rest of the time helping with pony training.
Possibly minding ponies and house cat for a few days on your own if I need to travel.Languages

I mostly eat vegetarian.
Remote location!!! I've a couple of bicycles that can be used to get to the closest shop (5km) or village (8km) in the summer. Local transport is very sporadic. Ideally you have a car or you are happy to spend your time in nature! What else ...

There is no internet connection at the house, I use my mobile phone as hotspot and will share this but it's only available when I'm in, and won't power much video streaming or heavy connections. There is a digital hub a few km away where you can rent a desk and avail of optical fibre broadband.
Space for parking camper vans
