We are a community build on the principles of permaculture. Our main focus is on natural building, nutrient cycling, forest gardening and local food production. We manage 20 acres of woodland and pasture that we are slowly converting into a local resource center for permaculture and natural building as well as producing food for the local market.
we are currently 6 permanent residents plus.

volunteers will be giving a thorough introduction to the permaculture principles and be able to use the knowledge on site, in planting the next step of our forest garden and managing our main garden.
We are looking for volunteers to help with the daily tasks on the farm. This includes animal care (chickens and 2 cows). Watering and fertilizing crops, maintaining the forest garden and taking part in the daily chores. Further more we have a few renovations projects that we want to involve you in.
volunteers will be living in our beautifully, situated, wooden caravan. The caravan has electricity but poor wifi reception. You will be sharing bathroom, toilet and meals with the rest of the community.
We live on a beautiful island called Bornholm, in the middle of the baltic sea. The island is famous for its plentiness of nature, historic sights, sandy beaches and number of sunny hours. We bought our land here 5 years ago, because of the unspoiled nature, the rough mountainsides and the close community feeling. We are 5 adults and 1 child. we are involved in a number of local initiatives including a culture house, monthly soup kitchens and a food coop. Our kitchen is primarily Organic and vegetarian. We do not tolerate any racist, fascist, homophobic or sexistic behavior.
