Types of help and learning opportunities
GardeningGeneral MaintenanceCultural exchange and learning opportunities
I am a professional painter (plein air landscapes and townscapes mostly, but also still lifes and portraits). I am happy to share my knowledge and provide you with studio space for painting in return for help with any of the jobs needed to maintain this as a beautiful place for painting. I teach art via an online self-study art school.
Help
I have a studio with a large amount of land with woods, terraced meadows, a herb garden, a few olive trees, vines, and fig trees. Beautiful views from every part of the property. It's too big for me to maintain, so I could use some help in any of these areas:
- removing invasive ginestra from the land to protect the wildflower meadows
- strimming the grass
- sanding doors and windows, and varnishing them to protect them from the elementsLanguages spoken

Room with private bathroom with shower and toilet provided for free. Please note that I have an ecological water system, and use rainwater for my water supply, so care with not using too much water is appreciated.
What else ...
Lively local medieval hamlet 20 minutes walk away. 30 minutes to village with basic shops and coffee places and restaurant. Lovely walks through the woods right next to the property.
