  • Description

We herewith warmly welcome you to a project which could best be defined as an ashram-structure, a space of inner contemplation, healing and self-investigation, woven into the context of an ecological village under construction, inhabited by small community of permanent residents slowly forming itself and growing in size.
We are located about an hour drive away from the town of Caaguazu. The scenery is very rural, slightly hilly, green and laid back.

As we are describing a project of creative expression and as we are investing our energies to slowly draw a future vision of a gradually more and more self sustaining micro-society always promising itself on a far away horizon into what we call reality, we always have an unlimited amount of work to do.

In our daily life the multidimensionality of our vision demands us to include and to balance different aspects of "work".

We seek to provide a space of healing which allows our visitors to internally slow down.
We investigate and provide exchange of knowledge and experience in the fields of Rājā Yoga (Transcendental Meditation) and various other branches of the vast Indian Subcontinental Spiritual Heritage, as much as depending on the local availability of our educators in the fields of Qi Gong and Taijiquan practice and we provide certain links to the amazonian/shamanic field of research in conciseness. Manny visitors use the scenery to perform fasting or detoxication retreats in self responsibility or also to study in their personal field of interest. We are equipped with a small Library of Indological Research in English Language covering fields of interest as Advaita/Vedanta, Veda, Yoga, Kashmiri Shaivism, Sri Vidya, Sanskrit Studies and Tibetan Buddhism.

Even though we highly emphasize the potentially time consuming practical approach to the fields of investigation mentioned above, the maintenance and the planned expansion of our infrastructure requires a fair amount of attention, or better to say action in the more profane layers of existence. We have gardens and plants to look after, dogs, horses and donkeys to play with and care for and there are always jobs to do for individual heroes or team workers in fields as among others electricity, plumbery, vegetarian cooking, car and motorbike mechanics, carpentry, construction, logistics, landscape design or wallpainting.

We naturally attract visitors wishing to rise their level of internal peace and integration but also being able to elaborate their individual model of corresponding to a few of the countless necessities the administration of the described platform brings along inevitably.

Experience shows that most visitors arrive with their individual purpose and naturally find their individual manner to flow in harmony with our working rhythm.
According the constellation of people being present at the place, and the possibilities and necessities of the group and its individuals our social life can appear very different at different times. We encourage conscious and constructive social interaction based on the individual visitor's or resident's ability to also keep himself gradually more entertained and satisfied on his own behalf to cope with the fluctuations in the field of social dynamism.

We usually enjoy common meals in our vegetarian kitchen building, twice a day.
and regularly gather for collective meditations, Yoga asana practice, workshops or rituals in our meditation hall or inside the small Ganesh temple.
To visitors we can provide 5 little hardly furnished rooms in 3 different very simple wooden huts in relatively close geographical surrounding to the vegetarian kitchen building. When those happen to be occupied visitors are lucky to have a van to sleep in, to travel with a tent or to count with the necessary skills to establish their own basecamp.

Visitors should be aware of the fact that a close contact to nature cannot be avoided at this place!!!
We are always happy about cultural exchange. German, Spanish and English are usually the most spoken languages in daily human contact. We encourage creative expression, art and music, exchange of knowledge and skills and constructive conversations about countless fields of life.

If you wish to visit us we highly recommend you to travel with a loose and open time schedule. We prefer long term visitors to short term visitors. We work in very fix routines and can only show a certain degree of flexibility towards visitor's traveling in a rush.
Also it is vise to keep in consideration that our location is not really easily accessible in a classical sense.

Especially in times of rain, there is no guarantee that one makes it here or to town, even by motorbike or 4x4 vehicle.

We usually go to town a few times a months. When it doesn't rain visitors can arrive by bus. Only one bus a day leaves towards town at 5a.m. and returns from town to our region leaving Caaguazu bus terminal at 10:30a.m..

Please don't hesitate to get in contact and let us know in advance if you wish to pass by. Our internet connectivity is anything but ideal, so we seek your apologies for possible delay in replying.

Always wishing you a happy and protected journey

  • Help

A big part of daily working life rotates around maintaining the so far built structure, which includes the common buildings as kitchen and meditation hall the gardens and plantations and the cleanlyness and appearence of the space as a whole. Watching over the wellfare of animals and plants is a never ending task. There is a huge range of potentially helpful activities to perform. We always have more visions, projects and ideas then we can materialize at the same time.
We also wish to remind that a genuine daily individual or collective spiritual practice, usually also forms a considerable part of our working life.

All languages are welcome. They are the means of communication and communication is essential to our work. The place i practically trilingual. German, Spanish and English are usually the dominant languages in daily exchange. French-, Italian-, Dutch-, Hindi-; or Portuguese speakers have a fair chance to find someone who may at least partially understand them. Some of us show interest in basic Sanskrit studies. We live far away from the common sources of education and appreciate opportunities to expand our cultural horizon.

  • Accommodation

At the risk of repeating informations already stated above, we ask you to take into consideration that we are talking about a place in the countryside fairly far away from town. The definition of comfort can be very subjective. We find our comfort in a simple and healthy life close to nature. it was just in end of 2018 that we were starting to develop an infrastructure at this place which before was only covered by high grass, metal- and plastic waste.
The project is somehow always "under construction". At the current moment we can offer five wooden rooms in three huts with very basic interior. If those happen to be occupied by other visitors, there is always plenty of space to set up a tent. A close contact to nature, flora and phauna is inevitable either way!!! we highly recommend you to travel with an open and loose time schedule if you intent to visit us. Almost 20km of dirt road separate us from the freeway and in times of rain it already happened that even for 4x4 vehicles there has neither been a way in nor out. During dry periods there is a bus going to town and back once a day. we usually travel to Cagguazu 3 to 5 times a month.

  • What else ...

    What else ...

To resume what was mentioned above:
This is a place with a relatively low degree of entertainment and distraction. A community of beings, living a well coordinated communal life, is not a task to be realized in a few day. We still rather attract fellow companions with a pioneer spirit than those looking for a ready made community nest to settle in. This might change in course of time. We try to make best usage of our life time and energy to the best of our understanding of cosmic law to live what we define as a fully integrated, peaceful, relatively withdrawn life in nature and to provide the opportunity to others to join into our lifestyle.
The platform shows especially appealing to those showing an affinity to the highly sophisticated and scientific systems of holistic internal approach revealed in the context of Indian subcontinental Culture, looking for a linking point in Southern America, which should not at all prevent potential visitors not (yet) sharing these interests to connect with us.
Sometimes in life the purpose of a journey is only revealed while being on the journey.

There are plenty of idyllic locations to park in nature. If electricity in the car is required, you will have to be inventive. Please keep in mind that you would not be the first person being stuck here in periods of rain, especially if you do not have a 4x4 vehicle.

    Can possibly accept pets

At the current moment we live with several dogs, cats, donkeys, horses and decorative chickens. The dog pack usually easily integrates new members if those don't show to be too dominant, but we cannot always take guarantee, especially in case of new female dogs, we already witnessed minor incidents. We ask you to please show responsibility for the behavior of your dogs as the life of our chickens, cats, and our neighbours' lambs and calves is also precious to us. We cannot take any guarantee for the wellbeing of cats being brought to the place. If you intent to bring other animals than dogs or cats, please doublecheck with us in advance.
